Belinda Dopita trained as a genetic counsellor in Melbourne and has a Masters degree in Genetic Counselling. She worked at the Centre for Human Genetics in Boston, USA, where she specialised in prenatal genetic screening and diagnosis. After returning to Australia, she worked at The Children's Hospital at Westmead, with a special interest in prenatal and neurogenetics. She has been working at The ACT Genetics Service since 2007. With a background in psychology, Belinda has a particular interest in prenatal screening and diagnosis as well as genetic counselling of children and young adults. |

Shelley Kennedy has 16 years of clinical experience as a genetic counsellor. She received a Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from the University of Cincinnati in 1997 and was certified by the American Board of Genetic Counselors (ABGC) in 1999. She has extensive experience in both prenatal and pediatric genetic counselling. In addition to patient care, Shelley has been actively involved in the development and implementation of graduate training programs in genetic counselling as well as clinical research. She was a member of faculty at the University of Toronto in Canada and Program Director of the first genetic counselling training program in the Middle East. |
